BATTLEFEEL

Mmm, see everyday we wake up

Put that brave face  on, so you can face what wrong

With the day, that carries the great  weight  of war

Now you gotta be willing, to be a part of this kill

That not only takes away the life, but you sell your soul to it.

But if you don’t you find yourself by the creek, while  people packing heat pointing guns on you back

Unapologetically saying “hey man if you don’t swim we won’t get much  to eat. Nothing personal, its just the fact that you ain’t  worth the discomfort.”

Damn, the world can be heartless.

The truth is that, at some point in the future, we think that things may get better,

But we find ourselves clawing our paths hoping to get to success, or peace or prosperity.

But for that a price to pay, you might get to a certain top but, howmany lives have you ruined? How many more till your satisfied.

You tend to lose your humanity in pursuit of a thing that you can’t grasp

So do me a favor  and stop, take a break  and have a look a round, and tell me what you see, is anyone smiling, laughing, dancing with you, or are they not even willing  to talk to you.

Don’t worry  am not blaming  you, am simply saying that you need to be appreciative,

This world is old but you won’t last that long, it’s got years on you. You should be grateful it hasn’t turned on you

The the destruction it leaves on its wake, its amazing how we hope it would end.

But that’s just a lie we tell to ourselves knowing very well that this is nothing short of a Battlefield
